Guardian Technology has completed its firmware integration with Thermo King single and multi-temp truck and trailer refrigeration units. This allows Guardian Technology to extract Thermo King reefer data and wirelessly transmit the information to dispatchers, fleet managers and drivers.

The ReeferGuard unit connects directly to Thermo King's i-Box which is installed on the refrigeration unit providing a simple plug-and-play set-up. "We are excited to complete this project and transmit data provided directly from the Thermo King reefer units to our customers," said Gary Hadfield, COO for Guardian Technology.

- Guardian Technology's system, the ReeferGuard, offers a fully integrated monitoring solution that includes:

- Real time information including temperature, location, speed and direction.

- Full system monitoring of Thermo King units including all operational and maintenance data.

- 24/7 monitoring and notification whether unit is tethered or untethered.

- Immediate automated notification of all critical system alarms via phone and/or email.

- On-Guard solar cell technology to ensure each unit is monitored 24/7/365 without draining unit battery life.

- Proprietary full web-enabled tracking with the latest in satellite imagery and aerial photography at Guard-tech.com.
