Lucid Logistics has announced a March 1st release date of the AMS-500i for use in vertical markets globally, including: Oil and Gas, Mining, Heavy Equipment, SCADA, Fixed Assets, Logistics, Government, and NGO's.

The AMS-500i provides the long awaited end-to-end data security for fleet and asset telematics intelligence. The Iridium satellite network was chosen for data transmission, as it is the only fully meshed network, providing global coverage, and near real-time two-way communications.

"The lack of data integrity, message delivery standards, and security has been a major concern in this industry for many years. The LL team has built the next generation system, which has resulted in the most innovative MRM solution on the market.

The AMS-500i guarantees safe, secure and accurate delivery of fleet and asset intelligence to and from anywhere in the world, without fail," stated Cliff Henley, CEO of LL.

"This includes highly classified, time sensitive and/or mission critical fleet and asset data. Guaranteed message delivery, and data security are simply required components of a complete MRM solution. Fleet, HSE and IT departments worldwide now have what is needed to provide management real-time, accurate business intelligence," continued Henley.

"Iridium is pleased to welcome Lucid Logistics as an Iridium value added reseller. Our unique network will provide their customers with truly global reach, performance and flexibility," said Matt Desch, CEO, Iridium.

"We are excited to work with LL as they design solutions that help companies stay connected and manage their assets regardless of where their business may take them."
