Telesat (NASDAQ and TSX: TSAT), a prominent global satellite operator, has announced a new partnership with Intellian, a leading provider of satellite communication antennas and ground systems, to develop Ka-band flat panel User Terminals for the Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) network.

Through this agreement, Intellian will design and manufacture advanced Ka-band LEO flat panel terminals optimized for the Telesat Lightspeed constellation. These cutting-edge terminals are designed to provide high-throughput connectivity across various sectors, including fixed enterprise applications, wireless backhaul, government operations, land mobility, and maritime communications.

Intellian is widely recognized for its reliability and technological leadership, with innovations in Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) flat panel technology playing a key role in expanding its product portfolio. The company's new Ka-band AESA User Terminals represent the latest advancement in satellite connectivity, offering high performance with reduced weight and power requirements.

Manufactured at Intellian's state-of-the-art production facilities, these compact and lightweight terminals integrate specialized engineering techniques to deliver exceptional efficiency. Customers using Telesat Lightspeed will benefit from Intellian's streamlined approach to User Terminal development, ensuring seamless connectivity across multiple applications.
