Omni Design Technologies, a prominent developer of low-power, high-performance SWIFT data acquisition and signal-processing technologies, has introduced a suite of state-of-the-art ultra-wideband IP products tailored for satellite communications providers in the United States and Europe.

These advanced multi-gigahertz SWIFT data converters and supporting cores are engineered for seamless integration into low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communication platforms as well as ground-based support stations.

Among the central offerings are:

+ 12-bit, 9Gsps Swift Analog-to-Digital Converter (ODT-ADC-12B9G-16)

+ 12-bit, 9Gsps Swift Digital-to-Analog Converter (ODT-DAC-12B9G-16)

Beyond their high-speed and low-power standalone functionality, these 9Gsps data converter IP cores can also be deployed as part of a comprehensive analog front-end (AFE) solution. This integrated system comprises several optimized components:

+ Capless low dropout regulators (LDOs) for streamlined power efficiency

+ OmniTRUST process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) monitoring for superior system resilience and reliability

+ Precision-engineered voltage and current references

+ Advanced high-speed clock management and signal distribution subsystems

"Omni Design Technologies continues to deliver breakthrough solutions for the most demanding data acquisition and communication applications, including our multi-gigasample-per-second data converter IP cores, which feature the lowest power consumption and are built on advanced process nodes," said Dr. Kush Gulati, President and CEO of Omni Design Technologies. "These solutions are being adopted by market-leading clients to accelerate their time to market. Our high-bandwidth, gigasample SWIFT data converter solutions empower customers to unlock the full potential of wireless communications, enabling faster, more efficient, and more precise data transmission."
