Raytheon has received a $9.8 million U.S. Air Force contract modification for the Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile, or AMRAAM, program.
The contract involves foreign military sales to Australia, South Korea, Romania and Saudi Arabia.
The modification to the previously awarded contract calls for the provision of AMRAAM life of type buy components since specific devices will no longer be available or manufactured.
Work will be performed in Arizona, with an estimated completion date of December 2017.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is the contracting activity.
The AMRAAM offers operational flexibility in a range of scenarios, including air-to-air and surface-launch engagements.
