Death toll in Syria's Ghouta rises to 47: monitor
Beirut, Feb 6 (AFP) Feb 06, 2018
The death toll from Syrian regime air strikes on the rebel-held enclave of Eastern Ghouta near Damascus on Tuesday has risen to 47, a monitoring group said.

The head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdel Rahman, said 19 people were still stuck under the rubble in several parts of the area and warned the count could rise further.

Previously, the Britain-based Observatory said 35 people had been killed in Tuesday's strikes.
