CORRECTED: Putin says Western weapons striking Russia would have 'serious consequences'
Moscow, May 28 (AFP) May 28, 2024
Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday there would be "serious consequences" if western countries gave approval to Ukraine to use their weapons in strikes on Russian territory.

"This constant escalation can lead to serious consequences," Putin said in a visit to Uzbekistan. "In Europe, especially in small countries, they should be aware what they are playing with. They should remember that, as countries with small, densely populated territories... They should keep this in mind before talking about striking Russia."
