Voyager Technologies has announced an investment in Latent AI, a specialist in edge-based artificial intelligence that enables data to be processed and acted upon in real time. The collaboration will bring advanced AI processing to orbit and other contested environments where connectivity is limited.

"AI is transforming the edge from a passive collector to an active combat multiplier," stated Dylan Taylor, CEO of Voyager Technologies. "We're making the leap from merely collecting data at the edge to understanding it instantly, putting mission intelligence where the mission happens in real time."

Latent AI's technology allows AI models to operate under constrained conditions while still providing mission-critical insights. This ensures faster and more resilient decision-making for applications ranging from defense to industrial operations.

The partnership is expected to accelerate product development, broaden hardware compatibility, and expand deployment to Voyager's onboard processors and avionics platforms. Such advancements will improve targeting accuracy, situational awareness, and operational advantage in time-sensitive missions.

"Traditional AI relies on sending data thousands of miles to cloud resources - impractical when operating in space or contested environments," said Jags Kandasamy, Co-founder and CEO of Latent AI. "Voyager's investment accelerates our mission to put AI processing power exactly where operators need it most: at the point of decision."

Both companies will also focus on cultivating a larger partner ecosystem to increase innovation cycles and deliver enhanced intelligence to defense, space, and industrial customers.
